This cat.
I got up with a cat in my mind this morning.
I think this happens to many creators though, once you thought "I want to make this NOW!!", you will start to make it even when you are behind of schedule what you have been doing, or even in the middle of what you have been working on.
I now have been working on 6 Korean quilt orders, I should not have time to do something else. But that happening approached to me this morning, and I started to draw a pattern of it before brushing my teeth.
I made it as a large mascot size, but I think this would be much prettier when it is a cushion!
What do you think??

Dear Kyoko, it's been a long time since I wrote you last time. Today I woke up with the same feeling, that I wanted to make something to my girl (yes, it's a girl comming in the end of June!)and even if I slept yesterday at 1am, I left my bed at 7:30am to look for a pattern...

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to tell you that this kind of feeling happens to me all the time! It is quite hard to finish one thing for me without wanting to begin something new. You can guess how messy my sewing room is!
I love your cat, it looks very whimsical. Maybe you could add a mouth or moustaches???

I am happy to know other people get this feeling as well. I got the same feeling yesterday again, but didn't have time to play with other things thsd time. I will try this evening when everything planned make on schedule!
