Batik fever.

I think Batik fever has been attacking me again. The last attack was in fall, 2009, I think. When this fever attacks me, I start to buy large quantity of batik one after another. Hope this attack wouldn't last for a long time :(  Probably, next attack would be a year or a year and half later.

I thought the 2 batiks in the last picture would be good to use for a Japanesey quilt. Cannot wait to use it!

And thinking to make a simple red batik quilt with those that you see in the first picture, and with white solid. It will be FUN~~~~~~!

    I appreciate for your quick response. This fever doesn't really put me in critical condition in health, but would damage my wallet when it become advanced. I will take two doses of felt before getting worse. Thank you very much for the suggestion. I will call you if my wallet is badly damaged.

    OK, you've made me laugh with these posts! I hope you are taking your felt like a good patient--

    I like that monster quilt in the next post. What does "zakka" mean?

    And I also like hearing about your homework assignments. You're making me recall my school days. I think it would be hard to describe how to kiss!

    Our weather has been pretty dreary, but my birthday is this weekend and my parents are babysitting so my husband and I can go out to dinner. It has been a long time, so I'm excited.

    Originally "zakka" in Japanese means stationery. The Japanese words "zakka" and "kawaii"(pretty or cute) became famous among people who is interested in Japanese characterized things.

    I finished my first draft essay about "how to kiss"! It is narrative essay so I have to tell a story about it. It's too embarrassed to show off the essay here, but you might enjoy it if I can show you somehow :) My housemate already took a look at it, and again gave me some corrections. I need to read it again tomorrow thinking with the corrections so that I might be able to make it better.

    Happy early Birthday! I know you would try to go home as soon as possible after dinner worrying about your children. I hope you fully enjoy such a rare opportunity!

    Kyoko, thanks so much for the birthday wishes. My husband and I did have a good time when we went out, although the next day we all got sick.
